The
new "He is the Gift" initiative is great! We are sharing it with
everyone here, even though we can’t use the internet or any social media sites,
but we are doing our best with what we have. The ward is getting excited and we
are trying to inform everyone about the video on YouTube. It’s going to be a
great way to share the Gospel. Go and watch the video, and share it with everyone!
It’s soo cool. They are even putting up a billboard on Times Square in NY about
it! It’s going to be huge! Look
up the video!! Christmas.Mormon.org
Multi-Zone Conference
We attended a Multi-Zone Conference in Santa Cruz today. It was great. We
talked about the new initiative of the Church to help everyone understand the
true meaning of Christmas. It is called “HE is the Gift.” We were asked to give
away 10 pass-along cards each day to show/teach people how important it is to
remember Jesus Christ and that He was the first gift of Christmas. We talked a
lot about this and watched the video that the Church has on the internet.
President Zambrano asked me to translate in front of everyone and I failed
miserably! I am forgetting English.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We made Key Lime Pie to celebrate Thanksgiving. A little odd, but it’s something. I am thankful for: My family, the Gospel, Temples, my mission, the gift of tongues, my companion, the Spirit, the Scriptures, the Atonement of Jesus Christ, the Prophet, Priesthood, Prayer, my friends, President Zambrano, my health, the heat, water, sleep, p-day, food, knowledge, music, agency, chapels, electricity, mountains (even though there aren’t any here), rain, Christmas . . .
